Spark e-Fuels is driving the transition to net-zero aviation by developing scalable and affordable e-fuel technologies. To strengthen our project and technology development, we are looking for a motivated project engineer to advance industrial partnerships, expand techno-economic and environmental assessment models, and support funding acquisition. How you contribute to success
- Identify and engage industrial partners along the e-fuels value chain
- Represent Spark at conferences, workshops, and partner meetings (online and in-person)
- Develop and expand techno-economic and environmental impact assessment models
- Derive KPIs and support documentation for technical development
- Scout and prepare proposals for European, national, and regional funding programs
- Lead smaller grant proposals and contribute to larger consortium applications
Your profile
- You hold a degree in technology management, industrial engineering, chemical engineering, process engineering, or a related field
- You bring >3 years work experience in project or business development within the fuels, chemicals, or process industries (knowledge of e-fuels is a plus)
- You have expertise in techno-economic and/or environmental impact assessments (experience with interactive dashboards is a plus)
- You are familiar with German regional, national and/or European grant funding schemes and have experience in grant writing
- You are customer-focused, highly organized, and an excellent communicator with strong presentation skills
